Mr. Albert Ing is from Kaiping, Guongdong Province. The family moved to Hong Kong when he was 9 years old. Albert came to Windsor at the age of 12 and worked at Paradise restaurant which was operated by his uncle. When he was 18 Albert moved to New York and spent the next eleven years working in the restaurant business. While he was in New York Albert married Lily. In 1968 Albert moved the family back to Windsor and started a restaurant in Kingsville.

Then in 1983 he got a job at General Motors and worked there until his retirement in 2003. Albert is very active in the art of Tai Chi. He has been a Tai Chi instructor at the Windsor Board of Education, CAW, ECCCA Essex County Chinese Canadian Association, and the Windsor Chinese Benevolent Association and has students throughout Windsor.
